Shipping policy
LEONITE® – operated by E-Commerce Tavic (sole proprietorship)
Version: 3 August 2026
These Shipping Terms apply to orders placed through the LEONITE® online shop at www.leonite.ch and supplement our General Terms and Conditions.
1. DELIVERY TIMES
1.1 Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days after the contract has been concluded and payment has been successfully authorized, unless a different processing time is stated in the product description, at checkout or in the order confirmation.
1.2 Once the order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, the following estimated transit times generally apply.
1.3 The estimated transit time within Switzerland is 2–4 business days.
1.4 The estimated transit time to Germany, Austria, Italy and Spain is 5–8 business days.
1.5 The estimated transit time to the United Kingdom is 6–10 business days.
1.6 The estimated transit time to the United States is 7–14 business days.
1.7 The estimated total time until delivery consists of the processing time and the transit time. Orders are generally not processed at weekends or on official public holidays at the place of dispatch. Deliveries are made in accordance with the terms and delivery days of the relevant shipping service provider in the country of delivery.
1.8 Orders are generally shipped through Swiss Post or other suitable shipping and logistics service providers.
1.9 Delays may occur during peak periods, in particular before public holidays, during seasonal promotions, product drops, pre-orders or periods of increased order volume.
1.10 Customs clearance, official inspections, security checks, import procedures, local public holidays, strikes, natural events or other events outside our reasonable control may extend the delivery time. Such events do not automatically release us from our obligations. Mandatory customer rights, in particular the rights to set an additional deadline, cancel, withdraw from the contract or obtain a refund, remain unaffected.
1.11 The processing, shipping and delivery times stated in the product description, at checkout or in the order confirmation are decisive. Unless a different delivery time has been agreed, we will deliver without undue delay and within the period required by the applicable law.
1.12 If it becomes apparent that an announced or agreed deadline cannot be met, we will inform the customer without undue delay of the delay and the new estimated dispatch or delivery date. Where required by law, the customer will be given the opportunity to accept the delay or cancel the order and request a full refund.
2. SHIPPING COSTS
2.1 Shipping costs are displayed separately at checkout before the order is placed.
2.2 Shipping costs may vary depending on the country of delivery, shipping method, shopping cart, currency and applicable promotions.
2.3 Promotional shipping rates, free-shipping offers and other shipping promotions apply only during the stated period and in accordance with the conditions announced for the relevant promotion. Where available, they are displayed at checkout.
2.4 The shipping costs and shipping options displayed at checkout at the time of the order are decisive.
3. CUSTOMS DUTIES, IMPORT TAXES AND CHARGES
3.1 LEONITE® ships from Switzerland. Deliveries outside Switzerland may be subject to additional customs duties, import taxes, value-added taxes, import charges, handling fees or other charges.
3.2 This applies in particular to deliveries to the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States.
3.3 Checkout will indicate whether customs duties, import taxes or other import charges collected by us are included in the total price or prepaid. Unless such amounts are expressly shown as included or prepaid, they must be paid directly by the customer to the competent authority or commissioned shipping service provider. Mandatory statutory information obligations remain unaffected.
3.4 LEONITE® has no influence over the amount, calculation or collection of such costs. They are determined by the competent customs and tax authorities or by shipping and logistics service providers in the relevant country of delivery.
3.5 Customers are advised to obtain information about the import rules and possible additional charges applicable in the country of delivery before placing an order. This does not limit our own statutory information obligations.
3.6 If delivery fails for a reason attributable to the customer, in particular an incorrect address, unjustified refusal to accept delivery, failure to collect the parcel or failure to cooperate with import clearance, reasonable additional costs actually incurred may be charged to the customer insofar as legally permitted. The allocation of costs following a valid withdrawal or in the case of defective goods is governed by the applicable law and our Withdrawal and Return Terms.
3.7 Customs clearance, official inspections and import procedures may delay delivery. Mandatory rights in the event of delayed or non-delivery remain unaffected.
4. TRACKING AND DELIVERY
4.1 Once the order has left our warehouse, the customer will receive a shipping confirmation by email.
4.2 Where available, the shipping confirmation will include a tracking number for the parcel.
4.3 Delivery is made to the delivery address entered at checkout.
4.4 The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate address details. These include, in particular, the name, street, house number, postal code, town or city and country, as well as any apartment number, company name, state, province, region or other information required for delivery.
4.5 If delivery is not possible, in particular because of an incorrect or incomplete address, failure to collect, failure to accept delivery or failure to cooperate with customs clearance, the parcel will be handled in accordance with the policies of the relevant shipping service provider.
4.6 Section 3.6 applies to reasonable additional costs actually incurred as a result of non-delivery attributable to the customer.
4.7 Partial deliveries are permitted insofar as they are reasonable for the customer. Additional shipping costs will be charged only where the customer has expressly agreed to them before completing the order.
4.8 For consumers, risk generally passes upon the actual handover of the goods to the customer or to a person authorized to receive them at the specified delivery address, unless otherwise provided by law.
5. PRE-ORDERS
5.1 Pre-order products are identified as such in the product description.
5.2 The dispatch or delivery period stated in the product description for a pre-order product forms part of the contract.
5.3 The contract for a pre-order product is concluded in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions. Payment may be collected when the contract is concluded, provided that this is clearly displayed at checkout.
5.4 If the stated dispatch or delivery period is not expected to be met, we will inform the customer without undue delay and provide a new estimated date. Where required under the applicable law, we will obtain consent to the delay or provide the option to cancel and receive a full refund. Mandatory rights in the event of delayed delivery remain unaffected.
5.5 Unless otherwise stated, orders containing both in-stock items and pre-order products may be shipped together once all items are available.
5.6 Where partial deliveries are agreed at the customer’s request, additional shipping costs may arise provided that the customer expressly agreed to them before completing the order. No additional shipping costs are charged for partial deliveries initiated by us.
6. DIGITAL GIFT CARDS
6.1 Digital gift cards are not shipped physically.
6.2 Following successful payment, the gift card is delivered electronically to the email address entered for the order or to the specified recipient address.
6.3 No shipping costs are charged for digital gift cards.
6.4 Digital gift cards are not subject to physical shipping, customs procedures or parcel transit times.
7. SHIPPING ZONES
7.1 We currently deliver to the following countries: Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.
7.2 The shipping countries and shipping methods available in each case are displayed at checkout.
7.3 If a country cannot be selected at checkout or no shipping option is displayed, delivery to that country is not currently available.
8. RETURNS, VOLUNTARY RETURNS AND WITHDRAWAL
8.1 All information concerning statutory withdrawal, voluntary returns, return shipping, return costs, refunds and possible exceptions is set out in the Withdrawal and Return Terms applicable to the relevant order.
8.2 Statutory rights relating to defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered goods remain unaffected.
8.3 If you have questions about a return, you can contact us by email at support@leonite.ch. Prior contact or authorization is not required for the effective exercise of a statutory right of withdrawal.
9. TRANSIT DAMAGE AND MISSING ITEMS
9.1 Please inspect the shipment upon receipt. Where transit damage is externally visible, please ask the delivery person to confirm it directly where possible.
9.2 Please report concealed damage, missing items or incorrect deliveries to us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours after delivery, by emailing support@leonite.ch and providing the order number, photographs and a brief description.
9.3 Prompt notification helps us review and process the case. Mandatory statutory claims remain unaffected.

10.2 The shipping costs, shipping options, countries of delivery, currencies, processing times, delivery information and any special rules displayed in the product description, at checkout or in the order confirmation at the time of the order are decisive.
